How to Know Without a Doubt That You Are On Your Way to Heaven:

1. Accept that you are a sinner. "As it is written, There is none righteous no not one." Romans 3:10 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

2. Realize that the penalty for your sin is death and hell. "For the wages of sin is death..."Romans 6:23a "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:14,15

3. Realize that you cannot get to heaven on your own. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

4. Believe that Jesus Christ died to pay for your sins and then rose again. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."Romans 6:23

5. Turn from your sin and trust Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."Romans 10 :9

6. Pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart today. "...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation..." II Corinthians 6:2b

Everyone's a Little Quirky...

Erica tagged me for a meme

Before I start, I guess I should let you know that I’m breaking the meme “rules”. Since a lot of you have already done this meme I’m not going to tag anyone. Well anyway, I’m supposed to tell you six quirky things about myself...here goes:

1.I love vacuum lines in carpet.
2.I dislike wearing my hair down around my face.
3.I could eat pasta everyday and not get tired of it.
4.I think black and white looks classy together. I have a lot of clothes in those colors
5.Birthdays are a big deal to me…even though I’m not a little kid anymore.
6.I don’t like my feet under the covers when I sleep.

I Probably could have listed a lot more, but I think I'll stop there...I don't want you to think that I'm too quirky!:)

If my feet are covered, I get too hot and I feel as if I can't breathe.
