Here is a fun appetizer that is pretty simple to make.
40 wooden toothpicks
16 oz. package cocktail wieners
12 oz. can refrigerated biscuits
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. milk
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 Tbsp. sugar
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. Insert toothpick into narrow end of each wiener. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; carefully divide each biscuit horizontally into four rounds. Wrap sides and top of each wiener with dough, pinching edges to seal. In pie plate mix egg and milk. On plate, mix cornmeal and sugar. Roll each wrapped wiener in egg mixture, then roll lightly in cornmeal mixture. place seam side down on cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 Minutes or until golden brown. Serve with ketchup and mustard.

These look really yummy! I've thought about making corndogs sometime, and now maybe I will try. :)
I bet these would especially great if there were a lot of children around. I might have to give this a try sometime; thanks for posting!
